Nostalgic laughter and rooster-brood, an intimate wedding.

Nina and Brian

Nina and Brian decided to shrug off convention and celebrated their love with a humble shindig along the banks of the Piesang River. Their guest list was short, but it wasn’t difficult to see that everyone there was incredibly close to their hearts.

Nestled in the valley on the outskirts of Plettenberg Bay in the Western Cape, the Emily Moon River Lodge was the perfect spot to watch the sky turn blue as friends enjoyed a glass or two of vintage wine and the children toasted roosterbrood over the fire.

Local musicians Brent and Lorette filled the dinning room with their melodies as everyone tucked into the four delicious courses prepared by Chef Hartley. The evening quickly dissolved into nostalgic laugher as Brian - jamming away to Tiggers cover renditions - raised yet another toast to their closest friends and family.

We walked away from this beautiful wedding with a whole dinner set in hand (handmade by Nina herself) and a collection of visual stories that we are so excited to share on this page.
